Black Screen
Hi @ all,

for me the game is not playable.
i only get a black screen after the start as soon as the intro should start.

i tried everything with compatiblity mode (each of them), the cm patch, installed physX, nothing helps.

my system:

ROG Strix Scar II
Win 10
16GB RAM
i7-8750
RTX 2070 8GB

press ESC several times till you get a message that asks you if you want to quit the game, press NO and the black screen should be gone

@Talana i tried everything from the list of yor link without success

@T3HPWN4 the game crash directly as soon as the intro should start.
in the task manager it is listed as not responding and the screen stays black.
there is also no sound.
your tipp with the esc key is not working, i tested it.

You may consider to stop the Steam overlay, run the game in a compatibility mode (yes, I know you did that), AND as admin; and disable PhysX if you aren't running an NVidia card. Even with an Nvidia PhysX can cause problems.

Keep the CM patch installed, as it would solve a lot of bugs ingame, while also adding some new content.

All the 'fixes' people say work is bull. i am running Sacred 2 with no problems all i did was update the PhysX to the latest drivers

Heres the link http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.1220-driver.html
it works!
but l had to delete latest PhysX, and install old by your link. Thanks a lot!
