Ice and Blood expansion
HI everyone, I'm playing S2 and I've got to a point where I'd like to have a look at the Ice and Blood quests on the Island, but I've gont to Thylissium and the captain doesn't have an option to take me to the Island. Does it unlock at a certain point or am I just looking in the wrong place.

As far as I'm aware both regions are readily accessible from the start, you just need a ship's captain to get there. I wouldn't recommend travelling there with a low level toon though, those areas are pretty tough.

Have you tried the captain at Urtak's Moxie?

No I haven't to be honest, I just read that you need to go to Thylysyum in order to get there so I've only tried there. I'm a Level 28 with a Tiger mount so I presumed I'd be OK if I got there. I just found something interesting in the Wiki though, Apparanty Seraphim Isand is Level 3 and I'm working through Level 2 at the moment so I hope there's an unlocking quest at some point.

I'm getting highly frustrated though, I'm now doing the frightened guard quest and I know it's a chain quest so I really want to finish it but I can't work out where I need to take the guard. I read that you have to take him to a bg building near an unfinished boat but I've taken him literally everywhere including that building 3 times so I'm almost at the point of giving up and letting him tail me. I've already got a guard following me from a quest earier on that glitched and I've nicknamed him "Twoflower" because he won't go away, won't fight and won't die.

Ah well!!! I'm destined to be frustrated I think.

If anyone has the answer to the Frightened guard I'd be grateful. Otherwise I'm gonna take him out to feed him to mutant spiders.

Aaaaaand true to comedy rules, I've just solved the Frightened guard, you have to take him BEHIND the big building and outside the shed with the boxes and then to the port and the circle round the guard (quest marker) then starts behaving.

I just hope I can find a home for Twoflower now.

If you tell me the name of the quest for Twoflower maybe I can help. ;) What do you mean by "Apparanty Seraphim Isand is Level 3 and I'm working through Level 2 at the moment"? Seraphim Island is part of the main quest.

Also, are you playing with CM Patch? It solves a lot of bugs (if not 100% then 99%).

I don't know what quest he's from, he's just a guard left over and I can't shake. I've finished all the quests that I have in my book previously so he's not a probem, he was just a mild irritant. I'm starting to get rather fond of him now actually and quite enjoy having him around.... hence the nickname.

Yea I realised Seraphim Island isn't what I was after.... I wanted the Ice and Blood quests.
i'm not playing with the patch, I've read in a couple of places that it can screw up as much as it fixes so I'm going to play as much as I can before installing it, I've had a few issues getting the main game to run on my laptop so don't want to mess with it if I don't have to.

Thanks I'll do that when I log in next. 10 hours of gmeplay is enough today! I'm pretty sure I'm just missing something so that may be it.
