Mods support problem
A small request. Could the devs provide a material for mods with a detail map or with an option to attach a second set of Diffuse, ORM, and Normalmap textures but using a different UV scale? I would do it myself, but there’s a bug causing every newly created material—even the simplest one—to shade incorrectly in the game. For some reason, it behaves as if it’s not taking any lighting from the envmap, turning black wherever it’s not in direct light. It would make creating mods a lot easier.
I know I should post this in the workshop section, but it seems not many people check there. Maybe someone from the community support will spot this call for help here ;)

It would be great if the devs fixed that lighting bug, because it would open up endless possibilities for creating new mods, but I realize they have quite a long task list and it's not a priority.
And it would be absolutely awesome if they provided a walk and run cycle for the material. Then you could blend normalmap wrinkles on the material depending on which leg is currently in front. But I'm not counting on it.

are you aware of the example projects that the devs published?

And you can also join the discord, there might be ppl who are more knowledgeable and be able to help.

Yes, I'm talking about that sample project the devs shared, the one on the Afdian page. There’s a single material there, and from what I’ve read in the comments on Afdian, the devs are aware of the problem with the lighting and the strange colors when trying to make changes to that material. However, I don’t know whether they’ve tried to fix it or if they can even fix it without more extensive and time-consuming changes. That’s why I requested they at least add a detail map. It would be easier to achieve the fabric texture effect on clothing without needing huge 2K textures. The game is supposed to be lightweight and run on older hardware, so it seems silly to fill up GPU memory with just ordinary pants, even considering that mods have their rules.
I haven’t used the Discord group, but I assume that it’s probably not a place where you can meet the devs. In this regard, I don’t think anyone else can help either.
I just hoped that Kathleen Noir could pass the word on about it ;)
