FAQ: LowLevelFatalError
Solutions for `LowLevelFatalError` Crashes Caused by Mods
These types of crashes are often triggered by incompatible or outdated `.pak` mods, especially ones modifying core gameplay systems, animations, or timers. Below are known error messages and the mods that cause them — with solutions.

Error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 3159] Could not find SuperStruct is Lazy Timer Checked to create is Lazy Timer Checked

Known Causes:
  • `No Recoil 5.4.pak`
  • `No Recoil 6.1.pak`
  • `Pure No Recoil.pak`
  • `Better Weight Capacity` (from NexusMods)
These mods alter gameplay logic and may conflict with current game systems, especially after updates.

Solution:
  • Remove or update the mods listed above.
  • If you're using similar gameplay-altering mods, try disabling them as well — any mod that modifies recoil, timers, or stat behavior can cause this crash.

General Recommendation:

If you're encountering LowLevelFatalError crashes:
  1. Remove recently added mods first.
  2. Disable gameplay overhaul mods one at a time to identify conflicts.
  3. Ensure all `.pak` files are up to date and built for your game's current version.
  4. Check if the game updated recently — mods that worked before might now be incompatible.

Additionally, the LowLevelFatalError may happen on a non-DX12-compliant system (verified on Windows 7, although other OS and hardware combinations may be affected).
Fix:
Edit %localappdata%\TheKillingAntidote\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
by setting sg.AntiAliasingQuality to either 0 or 1.
