Love the game, here is my 100 Hour gametime experience.
Out of all games i played with shooting, The Killing Antidote has the smoothest most precise aiming. It also runs well to hit high frames for me to display over 100 fps.
That's an ideal combination and really highlighted the game for me, to the point i have 100 hours in it now and completed my in-game wardrobe.

Most of these hours is getting chased by zombies in Centralized control Area, and taking it personal whenever Jodi gets artillery-spit at or jumped.

I like the game a lot.
Gotten it on the day it got available and had a rough start with it because it's the first time i played a horror game or resident evil like. I've played (2013)-Tomb Raider before but that's different and less immersive because it had "press X on enemy to finish".

Jodi (Protagonist of The killing Antidote) doesn't get to do that, she has to Daze a zombizzle with a heavy attack, then make another heavy attack to trigger killing animation.
Or get a zombuzzle from behind and heavy attack (right click).

i don't know if i was ever told these things by tutorial or if i had to figure them out myself, i think it was the later because i don't remember much akin to a tutorial. Which i appreciate!

Similarly, given the context of having no experience with horror action games of this kind and only few shooters, i didn't have the instinct build to dodge, look for doge or think of dodging.

For experienced players in the genre, i imagine that's the definition of a horror tale.
But The Killing Antidotes intense combat in the Arenas (challenges) has taught me a lot.
It has trained me.

In the story, i remember being stuck when without weapons (i leave it at that), because i didn't discover the solution AND at that point was still not a Dodger and again, still new to horror games.
But that was the breaking point, where i broke out of my shell~

Because i decided to see what else it has to offer outside of story, so i found the challenge modes.
Coincidentally, i also love Fashion in games. I remember playing MMO's and looking forward to next armor. Or Grinding cash currency ingame to a slick outfit. But that's also always when i stopped playing because MMO gameplay isn't fun to me and i achieved what motivated me.

The Killing Antidote is different, the many clothing combinations make it retain interest to me especially in combination with the fast paced action shooter in "Arena Mode".
Seeing Her move around in the outfit you customized to your liking is very pleasant too.

Or how you can layer makeup in a different order to create different looks.
Having reached the 100 hour mark now i understand the pain of picking clothes.
Because IT HAS TO FIT TOGETHER.
But i've created some really tasteful outfits. Today i've also started to use the Bunny tail, it has a lil wiggle when Jodi moves which makes it cute to see.

I've also trained a highly precise deadly aim in the arena and after disabling motion blur (i played on default high graphic settings which had it enabled) i even headshot jumpers as they leap, even if they just peak a little over the railing in Centralized control area.
-I play with windows cursor precision enhancement turned off btw, it makes aiming artificial through attempting to predict where you wanna go based on your mouses speed, which you as a player aiming do not intent for to mess with you ingame. That ♥♥♥♥ turned on never felt good.

And i also learned how to dodge, believe it or not. And the enemies audio cues allows the player to tell them apart too, given they all sound different.
I also play more frequently on hardcore, but i don't enjoy how "useless" the handgun becomes. Today i threw the handgun in a zombies face, neither he or i could believe it.
Love that this is possible tho.

I've also started to stomp them now. You can use tactics by leading them to a point without railing for you to jump down or them to stumble down and ragdoll (and actually take damage from the clumsy fall. I've seen Zomizzles die this way, so good!)
But yeah, you can just Dommy step crush their little boy neck when they are ragdolled.
It's similarly useful when they survived explosives.

Speaking of explosives, don't forget where you thrown your vacuum suction mines.
I think Twice i heard the "BEEP" when it was too late and Jodi turned into an Aerobic Gymnast with a graceful landing, usually face down into dust.
Today i also managed to attach one to the ceiling, crawlers going under it didn't trigger it, but the group of coincidentally same sized Menbies triggered it and it was a blast!

BUG
There is a Bug with Ququeing actions and level ups btw, i was spamming grenades, killed a bunch but was already throwing the next one AS i got level up.
I never managed to select the level up reward as the window persisted, ended up having to play the whole round with it.
Attempted Photo Mode, gaining more exp for more level ups, Escape etc etc. Pretty sure dying would have fixed it but i took the challenge and finished the round (with terrible aim, because the menu was blocking most of the screen, thankfully a tiny bit transparent)

There is also a weird behaviour that might not be intended, for Crawlers.
If you jump over a railing to a floor below (dropping down) any crawlers near will intercept you with a noiseless lunge that makes you fall to the ground in air.
It seems they lunge at any level of height difference, and it's not their powering up rrrrRRRRRRR!!!-jump.
That's the reason i started avoiding the stairs btw, too many surprise lunges! But to think dropping down over the railing isn't ideal either.

Just a good thing no Zoomber is cruel enough to start eating her when shes face planting the concrete. They all loyally wait for the Fashion Queen to get up before continuing their assault on her.

I also love that zombies you de-limbed bleed to death, but they still try to get you regardless. Jodi is just too attractive! Secretly all of them are madly obsessed fanboys, cosplaying zumbas to let their carnal desires take over.

It's also amazing that zombies do hit eat other with their attacks. As long as it physically connects, it deals damage.

Speaking of de-limbing, i tried to find out how many non-lethal throws of medieval weaponry it takes to dead-ded a undead. I ran out of all.

I also Saw unarmed zoomies climb a wall using invisible arms made of willpower.
similarly, i've enjoyed getting playfully chased by a runner with no arms. They appear to have no bleeding damage from lost armsies, because that one was running tracks with me~ It still tried to leap at jodi too.

With how many game mechanics The Killing Antidote has involve in combat & killing and it's aftermath as well as in the player model itself, it makes for a really engaging experience i come back for regularly if not daily. It might even be my favorite game now.
From my point of view, for what it delivers in the quality and performance as well as it's perhaps unique mix of genres, i know at least for me it has no competition.

Because new things are still happening everyday i smash zombies. Like today the armless runner who'd chase me through the map, you should of seen it. It went after me with so much vigor! Arms were only holding it back all along. (maybe it increased in speed from losing the arms mass, additionally becoming more aerodynamic. Like a bipedal zombie bullet!)

Short of the Long;
The Killing Antidote is possibly my favorite game now, for what it delivers, the quality it delivers as well as performance it allows for to make tight precise aiming and quick combat highly engaging.

Additionally, it has many other pleasant features like player model physics of hair, clothes, body parts and even earrings. The shock of the weapon fired, travels through the player model, you can see the bullet casing ejecting as well as smoke and light from the firing gun. Details like this can also be captured using the in game "photo mode".

You also get to dress the character up, apply makeup should you want and save outfits.
Or do Challenges to unlock more clothes.

It may be hard for beginners to the genre, but you can just practice like i have and learn to love it. Additionally it offers you ways to cheese enemy encounters. If Story is too hard or you're lost and don't know, just play challenges for practice and clothes. Or fun!
Because it's actually fun to play. :Quiet:

wayyyyyy TLDR
I love the game too and all the advanced things you spoke about here. So much so that I actually just finished a tactics guide for it here, if anyone is interested in learning some of the more advanced mechanics of the game.

This isn't a walkthrough, or a guide for finding all the hidden items. It just covers features and tactics that some people may be unaware of.

That's relevant, thanks for sharing! :happyBUD: Happy to see others enjoy it too.
I read the whole thing and I agree with everything.
Despite the limited content, I never felt tired or bored of any of it.
I kind of wish there was a "training room" of sorts, where you could summon monsters and practice fighting them without fear of dying.

Part of learning combat, is to prevent death.
If you go Main Menu /Challenges/ Testing Grounds, Select easy difficulty, load into the game then go to the leftmost door,

you'll have the easiest time the game is ever going to give you.
what I was leading into was practicing combat moves without the bother of constant save/load scumming.
I also wanted to add, the grey blood setting has more beautiful splashes when you pop zombie heads, it's like it showers you in the mess it makes! :VSnake: :LetiHeart:
Feels way better to me, perhaps due to having color blindness.

And i have to absolutely agree with Carnacks previous message, i've not bored of playing either. The opposite actually.

The initial bait that kept me hooked was unlocking clothes, now i have all of them but i keep playing because i i get to test outfits and develop my fashion sense as i get better at playing the game.

I also unlocked all hairstyles (by visiting all mirrors in every saferoom in story mode)
The busy ponytail is a favorite, goes well with so many outfits.
It also moves around and is hit bit the recoil shock of firing a gun too :happyBUD:

A open long sleeve outfit could work out well. Excited for more content!
