Suggestions after trying out 0.5.2.3
I saw guys from Residence of Evil playing this game on stream and i tried it myself. First impressions was mixed... But no matter what i could'nt resist to play :x Character design super cool. Clothes, animations, everythings fine. But all the rest seems to be pushed away... Theres like main character is like 1st price on stage(platform) and then theres the abyss and the rest of the game. While i played i had this feeling like i was playing super old game that noone walk with you by hand. No mini map ( theres no map at all ). Would be cool to get a button that highlight usable items around you. Somethimes flashlight gives less light than it should. When you use first aid kit and someone attack you, you loose it with no hp recovered... Monsters are clumsy. Had few times that they blocked unnaturaly, or souldnt attack me from position they were but they did. Surroundings are well made. I dont know maybe its just me but it would me nice to have something that let you know which door you could shoot at to make them open cause i have no idea how much ammo i sprayed just to doors. In later levels there was this hardened glass that you could broke and it had same issue as doors for me. From technical side i was impressed cause i had no crash at all. Had no issue with grapchic drivers and game was stable. I know its early access and creators said it will take around 2 years until game will be completed, I dont want to look like someone just complaying. Thoose are just my suggestions after playing several hours. I look forward for the future updates and wish a lot of patience to creators. It was fun to play \m/_

Just a couple of things to point out to you, hopefully it helps. Any wooden door can be opened by shooting or melee attacking/throwing axe at the lock, metal doors can not be opened this way. The glass can only be damaged and broken if a gas canister explodes near it first, it's part of the level's puzzle design.

Thanks for the tip :)

The levels are easy to remember, so having a map would be just annoying. The items flash all the time, there is no need in a dedicated key.

I love the combat and game mechanics the most, it is legit fun to play.
And the fashion part makes you slay in style!
Try alternative mode maps like the ones collected in storymode.
My favorite is centralized control area. :happyBUD:

Skill number 11 removes all jumping elements.
Skill number 12 completes the game for you.

But most of those are already unlocked, no?
The Item Detector highlights the items in vicinity. For the map you have the doorstops... Markers, in fact ;) The Enemy detector is somewhat working, as you can hear them through thin walls, also the infamous worm bug ;) Night Vision is there I believe, but it is automated and activates at night. According to the clock near the clock puzzle, it is somewhat midday though... And Skill 10 works perfectly for me, guess an unlocking logic bug...

They are not Journalists... They are activists cosplaying as journalists!

We already have that, and it's always active: you just walk nearby those objects and the game will highlight them for you.
