hi all guys, how i solve data recovery tool? i don't have clues:)

It's a simple maths logic puzzle, you need to make the numbers all match top to bottom and left to right, they will turn blue when you have the correct value.
You mean the hard drives that have Sudoku Puzzles. Just match the Rows and Columns with the numbers. Oh and they get changed everytime as you hit cancel and retry so do it in one go. 1 by 1

As someone who has played too much Sudoku this comment offends me, the two are nothing alike!

Sudoku is a pure logic puzzle, calculations or numbers are not needed at all, you just need nine distinct elements in a nine by nine grid split up into nine three by three grids. It could literally be nine different pictures of dogs and you could still make a Sudoku puzzle.

But in all seriousness I do see some surface level similarities even if the logic of TKA's puzzle is completely different.

Your goal is place ticks in the boxes to get it to add up to the numbers on the rows and columns. It looks harder than it is.
You can place 0, 1, 2, or 3 ticks in each box. Left clicking places a tick, right clicking removes on or all.
When a row or column has the right number of ticks in it, it will change color to blue. Get them all blue, and you are done!

Here's my strategy. IT has Four steps, and two rules:


Step 1: Go ahead and start by ticking all the boxes. Just put a tick everywhere, no matter what. That will give you an idea of where to start and what you need to balance out to complete.

Step 2: Start with the low numbers in the rows (the ones going across) first, and get those locked in by removing ticks from the low number's columns that line up with it.

For instance if you have a 4 on a row, with the numbers 8, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 15...
Favor the ticks on the 7, 9, 11, and 15, as they will need the most ticks at the end of it all.

Once you have the lower numbers in the rows done, do the same for the columns.
If you remove a tick from another low number in the opposite direction, balance it back out with a tick in a high column. Keep all the low numbers blue as best you can.

Now you should start seeing a pattern form.

Step 3: Start adding ticks in the intersections of high numbers, like 9's and 15's.
Once you get a few balanced it should get easier to figure out where you need more weight, and where you need to lose it.

Step 4. Now you start to balance out whats left. Remove ticks from rows that look like they have too many, and add in ticks to columns in other areas as you do it. You are trying to get as many blue to begin with, and then keep them blue as modulate your numbers.


Rules/Tips:
Rule 1: once you have all the boxes ticked, start by removing ticks from lower numbers.
You'r first priority needs to be making sure that no row has Too many clicks in it. Get as many low numbers blue as possible.

Rule 2: If you have more columns that are incomplete than rows, or only have rows/ columns... then that means one or more of the incomplete ones have TOO MANY ticks.
Count the ticks and see what went wrong!

For instance doing it this way, you should only ever up with a relatively equal number of columns and rows, but if you ever end up with incomplete numbers only in the rows, or only in the columns, then you messed up, and one of them has too many ticks.

Too tough strategy imo. I just start by placing the ticks to the intersections of rows and columns with the largest sums (the larger is the sum, the more ticks), then filling in the largest rows and columns, then (re)balancing the whole matrix, it doesn't take long and I guess each version has multiple solutions.

I have never played sudoku in my life. I just prioritize the puzzle by completing the highest number to lowest number in order. If there are middle numbers getting more or less. I reduce the amount in cells 1 by 1 to see if the rows and columns getting equally matched. Took me 5 to 7 minutes tho at the largest one with more freaking cells. And no I wasn't offending anyone. But i apologize if you still got anyways.

I finished most of them in a couple of minutes. It looks worse than it is.

One thing to note, is that the numbers will change color when you fill in their respective line with the correct amount. Following that, what I did was simple.

First, I just added 1 to each slot in a vertical column until it's number changed color.

Then I repeated that for each column until the numbers on the left changed color.

By the time I would get to the end, I would occasionally have to make one or two adjustments before it all cleared.
