This game goes down hill after shower scene
In the older demo I always hated the monster chase as it just seemed unfair with running out of stamina and other monsters in the way. You can get passed that part. The section that follows next is the stealth session and it is terrible. The stealth session ends with the Zombie Human Gang bang which often seemed to glitch out or unfairly identify me and then I would be fighting endless humans and zombies. Spent probably four hours trying to get passed the super unfair stealth section and the human vs zombie simulator. Then you go into the basement and struggle against what seems like endless hordes of slugs. After some frustration I got passed it. Then there is the huge zombie outbreak on a4 which i just died to for the 7th time. All of those sections seem unfair and annoying like in the demo I would replay the story over and over up until the chase monster scene but what now follows that is hours of frustrating and unfair game play where I am unsure if I am wasting my time with infinite enemy spawns or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth.

seems like unfair infinite enemy spawns slugs stopped spawning after awhile once i progressed further down that hellish corridor. and i always had a zomb brain grenade from vendor just incase music got spicy. didnt have much trouble in stealth section once i realized you cant do anything but hide and crouch walk. the ai gang bang is a hit or miss tho sometime the humans aggro sometimes they dont.

I agree, I was expecting great RE-like game, and game performed it very well BEFORE THE SHOWER SCENE, then somehow game decide to change its genre from RE-like to Cat mario after the shower scene.

This is what happen when you put too many things together while lacking the manpower to develop the game.
They should just focus on what the game good at, killing zombies.
I understand that they want to copy RE experience, but RE is developed by AAA studio for years.
They should do that for the sequel when they have more budget and staff.

I liked the part after the the shower scene. I have not gotten to the the stealth section yet, but the way developers designed the level where you had to lure zombies into mines and use doors to lock them out was pretty clever in my opinion.

well that part need to be tone down because the land mine blast radius and damage is ridiculously huge, I've played on normal difficulty and I was having really hard time even I've played that area 3 times already. (include the playtest version)
that's right, It's still giving me hard time even when I already know how to do it.

zombies never follows me as I intended,
caused me unnecessary death which was huge frustration.
Landmine blast is way too huge even staying all the way corner still insta kill player.

that's not the puzzle, it's more like a luck test. Huge frustration.

I think dev should lower the landmine damage toward player and give player more HP based on difficulty setting.

ex:
50% landmine dmg toward player + 100% start hp on easy difficulty
75% LMD + 75% start HP on normal difficulty
90% LMD + 50% start HP on hard difficulty
100% LMD +25% start HP on very hard difficulty

It would be better if there's more healing items on that area.

Common the game is not interesting because of the gameplay, lol :D I mean it must be fun yeah but it is still a waifu game and that thing does the game well. I just hope for more customization options and maybe new outfits. I would even like it if you could decorate the office.

I'm totally agree with this. after SHOWER gameplay become trial and error you must play same place again and again until you play it right and that slugs area is so ******* annoying sometime that slugs can stun lock you to the death and now i found myself play one area for hours without that much progress and that make this game very annoying to play
- but good thing after full release, we can clean Jodi in safe room but it will be better if we can change new towel that near shower

just use sewing kit on your towel

I hated the chase scene, it was so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and disconnected from the fun experience I decided to only buy it when it's fully release and complete, up to the chase scene it was an honest 9/10 game to be but that part alone made it -8 octilion.

After the Chase Scene, Stealth and Endless Spawn of Human vs Zombie Chaos, the game goes back to being fun again. :ClaireThumbs:

The Chase Scene in RE3 Remake Opening is more fun, no stamina to worry about and it also got good camera angle when Jill go through tight spaces. :raksasiamative:

The stealth part wasn't even that bad for me, just got a bow and then killed 2 of them silently for the gun then ammo then killed them all by the stairs 1 by 1.

The hold up part near the end feels so much worse, the fact that they spawn 2 of the bladed mini boss right after you just fought him feels ridiculous, the guy has so much HP and can one shot you if you dont have a knife. Really feels like they didn't test the 2nd half of the story at all. I'm glad they put in that room you can farm for money in on the 4th floor cus if they didn't the game would feel impossible to beat. I get that the game is early access and they'll change it but I'm playing normal not CBT extreme.

Devs reeally need to reduce enemy spawn rates, even on normal some parts are bit too much.
