You can just skip the fan roll too if it's too troublesome. Position yourself as near as possible to the doorway while still having access on the button. Then dash to the room immediately after pressing it.

It’s all about timing but it’s much simpler than it looks. I guess you’re trying to anticipate by doing your rolls a little before the opening is in front of you? In fact, it is really enough to wait until the opening is in front of you to do your roll. No need to anticipate at all.
