Just be ready to board the ship if there isn't any sensible regional pricing :espresso:

I have a question not covered:

Will this recognize my demo save, and any clothing unlocked carry over, or am I starting fresh?
clothing yes, story no
Messaggio originale di POTATO:
Don't appreciate the bait and switch with the release date several times in row, even if its not the developer's fault. The responsibility still falls upon him.

Also. 30 bucks is a bit high for this game in the state its in. There are MUCH more comprehensive and finished AA products on the market for the same price. Unless there is regional pricing which I highly doubt.
half the game was free for a few years, idk what to tell you

That has nothing to do with the launch's pricing.

Oh, release day still hotest!) We will be waiting this as long as it takes. :re3charlie: Because it is worth it!

It must be said that this is a grand event in the world of gamedev, when a small studio does something great. The game is not going anywhere, the release is inevitable. But the moment of something grand will pass. Let's think about it and open our best drinks. Let's raise a toast to the creators (my best wishes to JohnnySun) and to the era of indie gamedev. Probably the guys from Epic deserve it too.

Again, nothing to do with the launch's price. Honestly such snarky and salty replies to the community and not just here - in many threads.. are definitely not helping your game and its success. From what I understand you are new to community management so I will give you a small advice in the nicest way possible:
It would help if you acted more professionally.
+ The correct response in this unexpected situation would be to instantly pin a sticky thread explaining the problem clearly and asking for the community's patience. The information must be on top of all socials connected with the game.
- The wrong response would be to delete people's threads and comments. This is a VERY bad look for any game developer who expects customers to pay for his product. There has not been a time in history where censorship has helped a company. The negative backlash because of this is stirred even more by snarky, sarcastic answers and comments about the situation by community management. Sometime its better to stay silent than resort to this. Its a very bad look.

The game itself and its development looks good so far, but sometimes just making a good game isn't enough for it to be truly successful.

Just been on their patreon and the post there in 20th august says it will be released 9th oct but since then 5 days ago 2nd was posted not sure on the rushed launch with 1 week less.
Ok I don't usually see a point to jumping into posts like this, but when entitlement gets too high I like to see if it is valid. So I got nosy.

POTATO, you have a total of 27 games according to your profile....16 of which have had less than an hour of playtime. Is it really that concerning that this game wasn't able to be available the moment it was planned? I mean...to me it looks like you have plenty to play before it does. I do as well.

I don't think anything more than "We are having an issue with Steam to get this game available so please sit tight" is needed. What will a better description accomplish? No one interested is going to pull out a cape and fly in to save the day.

So instead of complaining about not being able to digitally download a new game that mathematically won't be played for more than 30 minutes...I am going to spend my time doing other things like living life.

You are welcome to comment back and I may read it. But like I said, I have other more important things to do.
Just release it and let me buy it
All this talking and people getting mad could have been avoided if Steam's stupid rating system wasn't so slow... They're literally losing money by delaying the game like this.

Anyway, best of luck to the developers, and my expectation is to have fun once the game finally comes out

What POTATO said is 100% valid, I'm not sure how connected you are to past and recent events regarding this game but the person in question has been dismissive, arrogant and sarcastic in Patreon, Steam and Discord towards anyone who even asked a simple question. I don't know POTATO or their game history which is completely irrelevant "I thought it strange you even used that as an argument" but many others feel the same as they do. Moderation isn't an easy job and not everyone is cut out for it, it takes alot of patience, fake smiling and nodding your head. It's no different than general customer service with the exception of removing and banning those who go against guidelines set out by the dev team. Just being nice goes a long way especially towards those who helped fund the game via Patreon, play tested and reported bugs and will then hand more money to purchase the game. This isn't Dbrand customer service, they actually do it in good taste. Lol

We see this kind of behaviour in the industry a lot this days, and we all know from what kind of ppl are. I dont trust this game anymore.
