The horde at the generator center is extremely hard
I dont know why the game is extremely hard in easy mode. Infinite zombie spawn, loads of shooters and the blade zombies just stab me at the back and kill me with an execution even with full healrh.

Are you using the zombie remover traps? Makes it a lot easier. The "blade" zombie can be counter if you have a knife just hit attack when he stabs you and Jodi will stab him back!

I posted this is another topic, hopefully it helps you.

I got stuck on this FOR HOURS on Normal. But I found a way to do it!

1. Place barricades, specially at the doorways.
2. Run from barricade to barricade and shoot zombies in the legs, DO NOT KILL THEM, just shoot a leg off. (I recommend the Cheetah Assault Rifle)

Then the zombies should all be crawling, when they crawl, they will crawl to the doors you barricaded but they can not break/attack them, meaning they will be stuck so you can focus on the power. Keep an eye out for more zombies coming to attack and do the same thing - don't kill, just shoot a leg off.

TIP: You can put barricades in your 2nd quick slot so you don't have to go into the inventory every time.

I agree this is cheap, but it's the only way I found to do it. You can sit in the vending machine room but you'll still have to run out to activate the next generator and pray to not get one shot by a Predator.

I hope this helps you guys. After doing this time after time I really grew to hate this part and this strategy worked for me.

Main thing I got stuck on here was not realizing I needed to activate part 2 and 3 again at the computer once the green bar fills up. Otherwise they spawn endlessly.

Safest method i found was grinding money on A4 then buying a truckload of turrets (needed about ~20 on hardcore lmao) first. Place em all, board up everything then hide behind the desk in the main room and only run out to replace the center 5 turrets immediately or to activate the next step.

Running around trying to pick up money during the fight is just death, same with having empty turrets while ya waste time fiddling with the vending machine.

you only talk about what "they" do...but what is with you ? what have you done against them? there are plenty of ways to do it...
I have also just arrived at this point
uff i play on easy
and this section is really hard
but thanks for the tips

i finished this section without spending a single bullet on extreme difficulty, just gotta know what to do and how to do, zombiesmashers for slasher and just use the zombie remover and barricade, simple as that, just gotta keep an eye on the zombie removers energy and keep picking up crystals and cash.

I just finished this part on second try! It's wild...
Yeah, the horde spawning is infinite. I had not realized you have to get back to the laptop and active the next one.
Killed 8 of the slashers/predators, rooms filled with bodies until i ran out of ammo and healing and when a spitter got me. clearly that wasn't the play :VSnake: pretty intense!

The game does no handholding so we have to figure things out ourselves.
The Next attempt i went in with all my ammo, mines and grenades as well as guns from storage.
Because it was time to farm :frenemy:

This time i killed a bunch, went into the vending machine room and closed the door (doors can be blocked by bodies btw, need a shotgun to clear the door frame off bodies to close door) and sold the crystals, bought Zombie Head Smasher, bought and used Zombie detection (throwable) to see zombies and activated Zombie head smasher inside the room to kill everything outside.

Then i picked up everything i could, fight off zombies until it's too many and go back into room for ammo, healing and explosives i buy. Rinse and Repeat.

Can't really run with this "tactic" because all this stuff in inventory drains stamina super quick.
So when i fought the slasher/predator creature , i'd use Assault Rifle to shoot a few mags into it right by the desk outside the vending machine. It would often get stuck on the other side of the table trying to reach me, dodges a few times or block but it doesn't do that for long.
Make sure to also finish off the other zombies that still spawn as you fight him.

If i was agile and not overburdened, i'd use 3 Mines to finish off the Predator creature.
In that run i made 28k, finished off with more stuff than i came in with.
The only shame is how in first attempt i killed way more, shame it all was lost. :PirateBUD: But the first run was the lesson.

If you want to familiarize yourself with killing the Creature, he spawns twice in the centralized area in Challenges.

And yeah, even on easy you still have no walk in the park. Might want to train in challenges to get better, it's a lot of fun too with clothing drops regularly somewhere on the map for you to look out for. It's an Arena shooter there. :happyBUD:

Oh yeah, when zombies grab you you have to click to stab em with a knife. When the animation finished you can quickly pull the knife out :DMderp:
And despite the game giving us a hard time on easy, you have the option to acquire the zombie head smasher and pretty much insta kill everything.

Hardcore is 3rd difficulty? I did it with default number of turrets, altho I had around 350 ammo for M4 and shotgun. Barricade everything, 1 turret in the little room. Hold barricades as long as you can, on wave 2 and 3 use turrets.
Bladed enemy dies from brain smasher.

You got a lot of good tips here. What I did was
1. bind the shooting turret (blue one) to a wheel
2. use the wheel which slows time to place blue turrets in the center room, there are 5 slots. 3. While turrets do their thing pick up money/gems and buy more.
4. Have 1 or 2 zombie brain busters for just in case, can also buy more at the vending machine.
5. repeat steps 2 & 3... and 4 if needed.

I started with like 2k cash and ended with 10k cash and was buying turrets over and over.

Just cannot do this bit! Im too old and slow to counter attack the zombies, such a shame, reached this area and now stuck. Blade guy one shots me all the time, if he wasnt there it would be better. Tried for several days now, probably have to leave it there and hope i can get past it one day. Good game otherwise though.

you find it hard because you're using the usual tactics. If you treat this part like a tower-defense game, it becomes laughably easy (I beat it on hard without any trouble). Just buy a whole bunch of turrets and put them on all the available platform, let them do the work for you. Buy more at the vending machines with the money and gems you pick up and replace the used up ones. You barely have to shoot yourself except at the predator. They basically die the moment they come into the room.

Bro. This. I didn't know you had to press the damn thing. Was farming these ♥♥♥♥♥ for 1 hour on extreme difficulty. Then I learned you have to actually press the laptop and did it in 4-5 waves next time ._.

Its the predator with the blade arms im struggling with. As soon as i see it, it does this weird dash and suddenly shes dead on the floor from a single stab. I cant dodge the damn thing quick enough. Ill give it another go though. Others here have done it, it must be possible even for an old fart like me!

place zombie smasher and stay behind the table and the predator is dead in one sec
