Try tapping the entry fields first with your finger... when they are activated, an input box should pop up.

I had the same problem on Deck. I had to unplug my USB keyboard so the controller would take over and let me use the on screen entry. Not sure if that helps at all.

Might be worth putting that on the stick for bug reports. Sounds like an issue with the game not accepting inputs from the virtual keyboard. I dunno how the Ally works, but maybe launch the game through big picture mode and use it there. Certain games will load an overlay to input things like names.

It worked on mine. Then again I am on the Microsoft version. Maybe try turning off Steam input for the game. That could be affecting it. One way to know for sure is bring up the keyboard and see if you can control the game that way because it should work.

Quick fix is to download it on your PC and play with steam cloud enabled. Stream to your rog till it does it's first auto save. Then load up game by itself on rog with steam cloud enabled. Once done, you can load the game and turn on airplane mode for it to save the game locally

Read my above post about steam. Make a slcloud save on steam then use that cloud save on your legion. Then turn off cloud save and play on your legion

I managed to do it. I used the back right button and the up button and then changed the keyboard to traditional and that worked for me as I was using the small keyboard!

On ROG Ally change the on screen keyboard to Traditional and it will work
