Can't get past the menu

Game thinks that there is some sort of input telling the game to keep pressing "down" like someone is constantly holding a D-pad button down. It wont get off of "exit game". No, I do not have a controller connected. Please help.

Found a fix, went into device manager and disabled Vjoy. Now I can play it just fine :)

Had the same problem on gamepass ver. I had it with and without the controller plugged in and after a fresh install, I do not understand the issue. Also, the issue only comes up when in combat sometimes, other times it starts in menus but mine is left/right instead of down.

I had the Game Pass issue as previously mentioned. I quit the game/restarted multiple times, verified files and plugged in / unplugged a controller. Eventually, it just stopped. Honestly no idea what specifically "fixed" it.

Have tried remapping keyboard controls and no fix. Also, I'm at the point of it only happening in combat and even stops happening in the pause menu.

Happened to me aswell on gamepass version. I unplugged my controller and keyboard and it got fixed, this may help you

Tried having no controller plugged in and unplugging the keyboard and mouse as the issue was happening and it fixed it. The only thing to have worked so worth a try for anyone suffering the same issue.

Also check what else you've got plugged in via USB. DirectInput can get a bit funny about what it thinks is a controller

So I own a desktop with an AMD Processor and Graphics card and a laptop with an AMD Processor and an NVIDIA Graphics card. The game works on my laptop but not on my desktop. Its something hardware related?

Might as well post the solution I found here

1. Open P5T
2. Alt+enter into windowed mode
3. Alt+tap to something else
4. Alt+tap again back to P5T
5. Should be fixed now. Alt+enter again to full screen
