If I remember correctly, Tactica take place during sae's palace ? so you'll be good I think. As far as we know, there won't be any strikers characters in this game.

The two games are separate; Tactica takes place in an entirely different reality from both Strikers and the main game.

From what I have seen it takes place at the earliest after December of persona 5, but before strikers, probably after the third semester but before joker leaves

This people keep incorrectly sayiig it takes place is saes palace but it takes place right before joker leaves. Only the dlc takes place during saes Palace

You don't need to have played Strikers to enjoy this, but Strikers is likely the better game so play that instead.

But it isnt..... he's not wrong. Strikers takes place after the original persona 5 and tactica takes place after the 2nd or 3rd palace of royals. Base and Royal are two different tellings of the same story.
