Who is getting this on PC Gamepass?

Not trying to pick a fight.

It just seems like a good deal to pay 1 dollar ( for the introductory offer ) or 10 dollars/month instead of 60.

If I want to buy it, I still can...

I say their model is only worth it if used in lieu of demos for specific games you’re not entirely sure are a good fit.

Reasons:

1. Much more complicated and more often than not outright impossible to mod, even just installing ReShade.

2. Almost always impossible to hex the exe to fix Ultrawide or FoV/AR issues.

3. Last but not least often a lot more complicated or impossible to use CheatEngine/WeMod, edit save files, etc.

Not to mention you, ya know don't have the game. If in a year and a half you decide to play again and aren't on Gamepass still you're SOL if the game is even still on it.

I think everyone has already made up their mind on "how" they want to play this: via Steam, getting a physical console version, Game Pass, ect.

It should be amazing, hope everyone enjoys it. XD

Want to play it on the deck so I'll be buying it on Steam. Gamepass is an awesome deal for sure, but for huge releases I still find myself buying it on Steam because it's my preferred platform.

That is good to know. Thank you. May give it a shot. That being said for games I know I'll probably want to come back to over the years I don't mind buying outright, as most 3rd party games leave gamepass after a year or so.

I don't have confidence in Gamepass working 100% perfectly on Steamdeck, especially with cloud saves :/

Plus it seems like every other month stuff just keeps getting removed from the service. I'm super grateful Gamepass lets me play a whole bunch of day one releases and indies (Having stupid amounts of fun with Like a Dragon Gaiden at the moment) but I think this one will be a steam purchase for me.
Also minor squabble, but I've come to realize that Gamepass titles don't let you change controller type inputs; I'd much rather the game show me PS icons instead of Xbox

I'm just wondering what version to buy, the Digital Deluxe comes with Akechi and Kasumi yeah? The product page is a little lacking in concrete information :/
