No in-game music in TR2, really?

I was so happy when I saw the first 3 titles were on sale on Steam, so I bought them all !

But then I played a bit the first one until I noticed there was no in-game music ! Nothing when the T-Rex came, and the game just loses all its atmosphere.

Then I tried TR2, hoping they would have fixed it then, but then I passed the first 2 levels and still no in-game music.

This really ruins the immersion of the game, I don't understand why the in-game music isn't here anymore, it adds so much to the game. I'm to the point where I don't even want to play it because, let's be honest, i do it out of nostalgia because it was such a great game, and it seems like half the game is missing without the music.

To anyone reading this thread, do you know why there is no in-game music? Is it a bug that should be reported to Steam?
Is there a way to put back the beautiful music back into TR2 (and TR1 too at the same time)?

I'm off to try TR3 hoping that this time there will be music and I'll be able to play the game...

TR2 has music for me...

There is music in TR2-5,but no music in TR1,because this is the PC-Version,it never had any music like that one in the PS1-Version.
However,TR2,TR3,TR4 and TR5 have ;D

I'm like OP, I fiddled a bit with TR2 but I swear there was music in the mnsion ballroom? There is no music on Steam.

[edit] nevermind that, doing the trick found in that other thread solved it. You have to change the volume to 9/9 once for the music to play. Changing it back to 10/10 shouldn't matter.

действительно надо было сделать громкость поставить на 9/10 , а потом вернуть на 10/10 и тогда музыка появится. Правда у меня она чего-то частично звучит, но уже лучше чем в тишине бегать.
Специально пишу на руССком, что б вдруг кто-то как и Я наткнется на эту тему, но будет знать язые меньше чем Я :))
