Tomb Raider II: Logitech Profiler Game Profile

The following is a Logitech Profiler profile I put together for TR2 with instructions for the F710 gamepad.

Tomb Raider II: Logitech Profiler Game Profile 2.0

Dropbox[www.dropbox.com] - Do not need an account to download. Just close any join window that might pop up.

This new version now mimics the Playstation 1 controls better plus some add-ons.

1. Small Medi-pack quick key assigned to left analog button. Large Medi-pack quick key assigned to right analog button

2. Weapons Cycle command added to the Back button for this gamepad in profile. It will cycle 1-6 so it will not skip empty slots.

3. Draw Flare command added to the up/forward y-axis on the right analog stick.

A couple of notes...

Sidestepping: This is achieved by holding the RT on your F710 plus left/right on the D-pad(mode button off) just like R2 on the PS1. With the mode button on left/right sidestepping is shifted to the left analog stick while holding RT.

If you want to skip initial scenes when game boots up use ESC on the kb. Using the gamepad to do this will sometimes disconnect the profile. A way around this is to at least wait for the Eidos splash to show before skipping scenes with the gamepad. This issue does not appear in other cutscenes. Best workaround is to make sure that your F710 isn't hibernationg before launching game.

part 1 worked perfectly. I hope this isn't a problem for the rest. I bought all the TR games..... None of the following work on this game.Logitech profiler, Joy2key, in game setup... I have a Logitech f310. with the switch on the back in either X or D. Please Help

I found Xpadder and that seems to work. I bound buttons according to the defaults in game (BTW: Pad 0 means number pad) As shown in the first tutorial for TR1. But now off to another forum to confront the no cut scene problem.

Sorry for taking a while to get back. I see you went with xpadder which is a nice app. You had issues with the logotech profiler even after installing the TR profile from here? You might have needed to do some tweeking with the button settings in Profiler afterward since you're using another pad type from the f710.

I am actually happier with the xpadder though. I would recommend that as a fix. I have both controllers by logitech (F310 and the F710) and it works great on both devices. Thank you for your efforts and I am sure most TR player wont even comment. So on behalf of all us TR junkies Thank you Crimson blitz

Use the picture from the TR1 tutorial above that shows default controls to set it all up.

Updating mirrors now. The primary links still work but you'll mostly get a one question survey on the page before it gives the download link. The mirrors are for those that have proxy issues that won't let them access the first site which are mostly those outside of the UK/US.
