Can't get out with the golden dragon in Living Quarters.

Got down into the hole to pick up the secret easily enough, but any attempt to leave ends with dying to the broken glass. All the guides seem to be fairly straightforward about this, just walk through the glass and climb out. Walking into the glass is fine, but the moment Lara jumps she dies.
Is there a secret spot where you have to stand, or a specific input to jump carefully enough, or is my game just broken?

Figured it out. apparently you need more than 1 hp to jump in this situation.

There's a spot you just jump down safely without damage. That's easy. Getting out, you're gonna get hurt. There's no way around that. You just walk up to the wall and grab the floor above. That action is gonna wound Lara. Dumb, I know.
