Problem with second lvl (Venice)

I'm near to end this lvl but i did mistake. I didn't bring second motorboat to destroy water mines. I can't come back there because i jumped from waterfall and I don't see other way to get there. I don't have saves from before because i saved a lot after waterfall. Do i really have to started the game from the beginning? :(

You actually don't need the second boat. You can proceed without it, as there's no use for it during the next level. Don't worry.

So how can i finish this lvl? If i destroy water mines i will not get to the gate on time without motorboat because the gate will close.

You can go back up the waterfall. There's a ladder in the canals/storm drains/sewers (whatever it is), but it's dark in there so use flares.
If you won't be able to find it, then use the skip level cheat.

Draw a flare, walk forward once, walk backward once, turn about 360° in any direction 3 times, jump forward.

Or you can just replay the game. It won't take too long.

1 minute ago i found this video that helped me. It's a little bug that make you have infinite amount of time to get to the gate. But thanks for info about ladder. Im blind that i didn't see it :P

After pushing the button to open the final door, don't step on the wooden platform or drive your boat over it; just swim under the door in the button room.

Excellent. And start saving more often and in multiple slots. You'll need it in later levels.
Enjoy the game! What I wouldn't do to forget everything and replay it again for the first time.

Yeah now i will save at the beginning of the lvl and will not oversave it.
