FM25 cancelled
Even though the players like myself who pre-ordered it got a full refund it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth that the game was cancelled, despite its popularity (Steam workshop). I can only hope SEGA and their respective partners please reconsider this decision. I would definitely get the next title as I enjoy the gameplay possibilities. It is really a sad day when I got the news. Feels like my previous post has gone to waste. I feel the pain myself and many fans of this franchise do right now. I only wanted to post here as I had posted a FM25 suggestions thread on Steam before. Please bring back the next game #RIPFM25

they dont care 10 years re skinning the game when they actually need to put some work in they fk us again

I mean, after saying FM25 was delayed twice now it will never happen because of...insert reasons here. People like myself who think highly about a decent game (better than Top Eleven imo). Not to mention the amount of love and support it has via Steam Workshop. Will the future be modders updating the databases, inserting new players that do not exist in the current databases? Idk, but sounds like the future of this franchise will be community driven...

for a relative small company, yearly releases are hard, Also Frontier canceled F1 Manager.
Heck, even big companies does reskinning for 25 years...

The game is in such a bad state that they don't want to release it. Why on earth would you want a completely broken game?

I've bought every FM and almost every CM game since Champ man 2. But I applaud SI and Sega for not completely fleecing their own fans by not bringing FM25 out.

It a good thing.

If not now then when? They posponed the release date twice then cancelled it all together. At least us who pre-ordered got a full refund in our Steam wallets :O

Probably better this way. I was really on the fence of buying FM25 when it would have come out. Would probably have been disappointed and many people would have been. Where's the upside in that?

Most people were not going to buy two versions in the same year ( March/November) so makes sense to make sure next release is working well. Would have been mistake to release bare bones, bug riddled game that wouldn't have got much post release support because team would be making next version.

They didn't plan on doing that. I am pretty sure they would like to take our money. They have new dev leaders in place now, so hopefully they can get things right.

I wonder if they will do a discount on the price of FM26 as a compensation for the FM25 debacle..would be a nice touch.

I hope so. At least we got a full refund from the pre-orders.
