We've been able to create male and female manager profiles for quite some time now. The same with employing female staff members, they're out there, there just aren't very many.
How? I can not find the option to create a female manager if I so desire.
Anyway, onto the bug fixes:
-Fix a rare bug that happens with the player kits changing mid match in 3D view.
-Fix some typos in EU Portuguese translation (namely with the FM editor add-on).
-Fix a rare bug where the last played manager face model can transfer over between multiple managers in the same save file (forcing you to update the face model every time you swap between your controlled teams).
-Reserve Squad duplication: Not only it’s duplicated (in the Portuguese Leagues, at least) but also the Reserves team isn’t listed in the club affiliations (at least for FC Porto, FC Porto B isn’t listed as a partner club in any way under the club details visually, although it’s hardcoded in the game anyway). Hopefully this is fixed with FM25 for added clarification and to reduce confusion.
I'm curious, what benefit do you think there would there be from employing multiple doctors?
The role is pretty much only there to add some more depth to the medical department. We can't employ or fire a doctor, nor can we see their profile or stats.
The only relevance they have to the game is that they provide an alternative treatment option for some injured players, though the treatment timescales are generally no better than a good physio.
Realism. A professional soccer team usually employs a chief doctor and a pair of doctors who are there to help assist with injured players on the bench in order to treat them better. These work alongside the Pysiotherapy department and Sports Science department. I forgot to mention the game should also allow for more than 1 Assistant Manager (just as it alliows for more than 1 Assistant Coach, Goalkeeper Coach and Pysical Preparation Coach. As well as more than 1 Set Piece Coach, just like irl). At least that’s the case with the club I support irl having multiple Assistant Coaches beneath the Head Coach. The game considers the possibility to only have a single Assistant Manager, however, it allows for more than 1 Assistant Coach, Goalkeeper Coach and Pysical Preparation Coach. It only allows a single Set Piece Coach as well. This could use an improvement, if not at least for realism and more role comprehension. These, however, should function as board request features and not given straight away as most stuff does have to go through the club’s board anyway (staff number extensions listings that could be granted assuming the board trusts your management skills and is willing to commit the extra financial resources for the services of these extra staff spots).
We know it’s in March 2025
Unless otherwise noticed the release date is somewhere in March 2025.
My thinking is, that would grant more autonomy around the board decisions, and making the club sustainable. And, it might just add an extra layer of excitement - and a new twist, for when you're several years into a save.
It has now been otherwise noted, RIP FM25
