How to update the game? Can you update the game with 2025 players?

Yes. Open the workshop here on Steam. Search for the 2025 update transfers ect. named "FMUpdate - January 2025" and order them for free.

If you've subscribed, it should have downloaded itself.
You select the database when you start the game.
Click start new game, click career, then the next window will have the database you're using on the top right. Click that and you should have the option of using downloaded databases.

You want it to look like this when you start a game. Note though that the start date is the same as normal. But, when you load the game up, the current transfers will be in place.
