Loading lower leagues
Hi,

On my last save in Polish Ekstraklasa I was struggling with painfully low values for my players, which led to my playing only South American talents, until I had to sell them for nothing, just to watch their value from to hundreds of millions sometimes.

Recently I had a thought, that the reason why i struggled so hard was the I have loaded mostly better leagues then mine, so everyone else was bullying me, treating like a minor.

Does loading the lower leagues or similar leagues to mine, in reputation and ranking, lead to more fair offers for the players?

well more leagues equals more players , more players equals a bigger transfer market pool, so it should balance things slightly better . A poorly ranked league is ALWAYS going to have a relatively low market value for their players though , thats how it goes in real life too . Players in the EPL are valued waaaaaay beyond their real market value , but the same player in say the Polish league will have a much much lower value. Contracts also plays a very big part in determining a players value . If you had a guy on 5k a week then he moves to Man City and is suddenly on 150k a week his value is going to sky rocket , because a guy with a contract worth that much money is expensive to buy out. Thats where the majority of a players market value comes from , not from their stats , stats and form only play a part in determining transfer value .
What I do in these cases, is not asking a lot of money directly, but a big percentage as a sell on clause. You don't have to wait till they sell your old player again, often you can sell the clause within 2 years and make good money.

So you're saying that the more my player earn the more value he has? It would make sense, that my players were cheap, since I was able to negotiate low wages for them. Most of them were South American wonder kids.

It didn't really work well. In some cases I was able to steal some good cash, but in many cases the club wasn't even interested in buying the clause, because the player was such a good talent, they didn't intend to sell him in a first place. He played until he got retired or left the club because he had no more value.
