The State of the SI Forums
There is a worrying trend happening on the forums at the moment. There are users actively posting issues with the game in regards to features not working as promised.
Then you have the deniers, who even get personal in their responses to the users experiencing issues.

The worrying thing for me, is the mods there a removing posts with the bug issues and keeping the deniers posts up. It's creating a narrative that the issues with the game are only experienced by a small number of people and the users are exaggerating.
I have posted bugs on the forums and get attacked for doing so. One user even called me a whiner, when in fact I have posted evidence and have proven that promised features are not working. They remove my post in response to the user, basically me pointing out that poster seems to just want to antagonise users experiencing issues and please do not engage in conversation with me anymore and if they were enjoying the game, why are the responding to all the people not.
The mods then close the thread, but keeps the deniers posts up. That is painting a picture that it's only a small issue.
There is something not right happening there.

Anyone looking to post about bugs they have experienced. We welcome the reports, we have a bugtracker available on the SI forums:

https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2024-early-access-bugs-tracker/

It has the advantage of allowing us to route issues from the public forums through to internal teams and get it logged accurately on our systems. If its similar to another bug still post it because capturing every instance of something going wrong and understanding just how many people are being impacted helps us understand the true scope of an issue.

Been like that since FM13, that is some 10+ years. So why moan now? No pun, really. I just wonder, why now?

Because this is a ‘Love letter’ to SI and in my opinion, the worst release out of the box!
JasseBasse Nov 18, 2023 @ 6:29am
I understand. But what I mean is, people hardly complained for 10+ years, so called "fan boys" were prising and singing their "halleluyas", and now, out of a sudden "things are not so fine, lets moan"? Why so silent for over 10 years? And if nothing really changed during those 10 years, why do you expect things to be different now? I mean people still pay tons of money for this product? 60€ for the game and 8€ for the editor, that is 68 €, not a small amount, wouldnt you say? And everybody who pays that kind of money "SUPPORTS" current product as well as accepts state it is in and general policy forced by the developer.

It’s only the last few versions there have been glaring issues spotted on beta release and still not fixed. Last year that’s when I noticed certain moderators were shutting down users with complaints. Just got worse now

Like I said, its been like this for over 10 years. However, and I agree, but all moderators just gotten more aggressive and oppressive. Like the old saying goes: power corrupts. And they hold all power.
As long people pay money, nothing will change. Nothing.

They just closed another thread due to ‘bickering’. The lack of information supplied by SI is making them debates happen. Proof in these threads get posted, but then closed due to ‘bickering’. What a joke of a forum! The only place where you can post bugs and issues and just shut down!
JasseBasse Nov 18, 2023 @ 7:27am
Like I said, as long as people pay, nothing will ever change.
Ps: guess what, here on this forum (albait earlier version) I was perma banned for, wait for it... "making car analogies". Let that sink in. Car analogies. Things have not "evolved" for the better.
The only option we have left is to "vote with our feet". Or rather our wallets. But even that aint gonna happen... So, nothing will change...

I was checking them out 10 years ago and they were pretty heavy handed with policing them, so I suppose it just stayed the same. That's how their forums are. Don't worry too much about it, life is short.
CrematesJay Nov 18, 2023 @ 10:14am
But the issue is, those forums are meant to provide information for the studio.l, in regards to bug fixes and issues. The way it’s being policed is basically getting the information lost in a sea of threads of denialist

So, same as always then? Like the positive review bombing on steam?

I see that you posted this exact same topic in the subreddit as well, but can you provide actual evidence of what is happening? I personally don't go on their forums so this isn't something I have seen. Just curious what exactly you are referring to.

if you have a bug or something broken you should write in the bug forum not really in the general forum of SI. As they pointed out and said over and over. You have a save file you have a problem you post a bug otherwise you are just whining no much point in those
