Players always unhappy

Why is it in this version the players are always crying about something. feels impossible to have a happy squad no matter what you try. Its ridiculous this year

Have noticed it. Managing a federation 2 team that hired me when last on the championship, with the mission to avoid relegation. Team support normal. Played first game, expected tie and we tied. Team support dropping. Next played against the second in the classification. Expectation defeat, tied it, team support bad. Played against #4 expectation tie, beat them 4-2 Team support abysmal. Really? Also why the heck does the assistant coach suggest to change captains when the moral hit is so massive?

Entire first team complaining for me about wanting a new contract and more playing time. I have to rest my striker cause he is jaded. I rest him and he ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about wanting more playing time. This year sucks when it comes to player happiness.

Yeah, be glad you can at least see that your players are unhappy.

My squad performed like thunder the first 6 games, then just out of the blue decided they don't want to even compete in the league anymore, they just wanna walk around the pitch and get their paycheck.

First I thought it might be complacancy, but turned out it wasn't.
Since they got beaten but still act the same way. If it were complacancy that would've been wiped off the moment they got a reality check.

Doesn't matter how many team meetings either, they don't respond to anything, I've tried one from each category most applicable to the situation just to test it and their dynamics states the team is just happy overall. Wierdest part is that they strongly support me, yet they apparently don't give a F about my opinion or what I say to them.

They've lost 4 matches in a row currently, some of them should've been utter cakewalks. Especially the one at home against the league's weakest team, but not even that could be pulled off. They just don't care. You know I had to throw that water bottle after that game. They should count themselves lucky if I don't give them away to a lower league for free.

It's just bad this year, no other way to put it. You get better results if you simulate the season than you do interacting with the players, team etc.

It either works like a charm where your team blaze through the league, they just give up after the first match and crash and burn or it goes like my current game, they don't feel like playing football anymore. Any of the above situations are just incredibly boring to witness.

Dynamics and player interaction is complete garbage this year with no logic behind it whatsoever and no way to get it back on track if it does go bad. At least in FM22 you could pull them out of a slump during team meetings or the cause of their sudden lack of talent could be explained, but since they won't respond to anything and there is no way to know why they refuse to perform I guess it's just time for a hard reset.

It's like they're actively trying to get me fired even though they want no one else managing them.

Pass on FM24, had way more fun in FM22.
One more try and if it's any of the above situations again, I'm installing this trash and just revert to FM22. Besides, the scouting in FM22 is way more fun than this new style they're going with.

Would also be the absolute last title I buy from SI, they've started to walk the FIFA path the last couple of years and boy is it repulsive. So many bug reports on their forum that they respond to but never fix, issues from FM23 Beta are still present even when they acknowledged the issues and they were reported again in FM24 Beta.

No idea what the hell is going on over there at SI, but seems they just want that lambo and then dip asap.

Had a player injured for a few months and he complained about playing time. Player on 13 out of 20 starts complained. It's driving me nuts

"Whinge 2024 Simulator" not pay'd enough, not played enough, Tired/ wont rest, complaining about no rest, complaining about a comment you made in a match 3 month ago, Don't like comments about the fall in standard of there training, Amnesia- they cant remember when there last pay rise was.

Si - drop all the bullsh@t about the "SOCIAL " aspect of the game. Develop a footballing sim.
Next thing they be taking knees for Bees who are not Chinese while wearing Dungarees.

This is laughable. My boy, Franco Gonzalez, that I paid 3m to Penarol, a key player in my team, valued 60ish millions, is unhappy. Has been because he's not playing Mezzala (he does... a lot). So I decided to trade him, for 70m (as per contract clause).

The best offer I'm getting is 8m. Some Serie B teams wants him on loan. I have never seen such issues in FM.
