People want to manage a football club not micromanaging what each player clothes they wear or who they date etc.
Not to mention getting real players to have these 'traits' would never work anyway. SI would get sued or lose their licenses for players, faster than light
Everyone within my circle of friends who also play FM share the same feeling that we'd love more in depth interactions with Players and not just replace a 3 Star Striker with a 4 Star Striker logic.
But the main point was that traits would fit better in the individual instructions of players rather than being a permanent thing.
But you can't. As I already stated. You can't have player X likes to go clubbing every weekend because it will harm the image of the player in real life. They have licenses and stuff for a reason.
The fundamental part of the game is to build a squad to be the best over anyone else. And thats done with stats/tactics/formation and player morale with a few other bits thrown in.
We don't need a issue where 'Jadon Sancho likes his PlayStation a bit too much, so his training suffers as a result' That's not what the game is nor should be.
I never see some players develop nice traits. Over the years i always had players with basic traits like dont dive for tackles, cut from right wing etc. Come on bro, make someone develop, gets crowd going, bicycle kick, curved balls etc where the hell is my new Beckham? Trait assigning is extremely dull to be honest.
