Any way to shrink save file size for cloud?

Its a joke, an absolute joke, why would they impose a 400MB limit for cloud saves? Cant use a save when you're 8 years in....

For long term saves, it's better to save locally. Mine went to 3.5GB

This is so silly. I wanted to play my save on my Steam Deck.

No way I know of. Only way for long term saves would be to have them saved to dropbox or similar and do it that way.

The limit is imposed by steam not SI the best option to take very large saves on the go is to save them to an external storage device like a USB drive.
