Let me guess, the sound will be identical. It hasn't changed since I made a sound mod for FM 20 years ago!!! TWENTY!!!!!!
I was a child. You can google my mod even today. CM3 sounds mod or something.
They have never updated sound. I would actually pay $10 to actually play with the sound on like other games.
SI even said once "sound is low priority because our stats show most people play with the sound off"
That is like saying "we won't cure blindness cause all blind people can't see."
Like no ♥♥♥♥, cause the sounds bad - not because we wanna play with the sound off. Imagine playing EA FC with the sound off. lmao
They are using the same logic today with International Management.
They removed features we didn't ask for.
But yeah, they're milking, it's been clear since the moment they put the editor as DLC.
Yes there is a global financial cost of living crisis. You know, where the majority of people are paying huge inflated prices on basic needs.
A game goes up by 12-20% and no one says a thing. A banana goes up by 12-20% and its the number 1 political thing everyone speaks of.
I was in part being sarcastic because they seem to follow every other politically safe trend, yet they have no qualms milking poor people.
In any case, I won't be purchasing FM25 anyway so the price doesn't really affect me either. I only buy even numbered FM's and this year even more so since FM25 is on a new engine, a lot of features removed and the community pretty pissed overall.
Doesn't sound like a stellar yearly addition to me, so I'm glad it wasn't FM26 which I will most likely buy next year.
Oh I thought you were being sarcastic. I have autism, sorry.
Inflation has really hit most english speaking countries and places in the west. I have family in Europe and they haven't noticed any inflation issues, mainly cause they just have so many farms and stuff to buy from or stalls. In places like USA, Canada and Australia etc, like 90% of people buy at grocery stores and these chains only have 1 or 2 competitors.
I think it's strange how they just up the price after making a $400,000,000 gross in sales of FM2024 and $154,000,000 in profit. I found this data online publicly. In fact the relatively small team at SI have made about 4 billion dollars in sales in 10 years. These statistics pull up all the sales of the game each year and take into consideration fiscal info with running the business.
They don't need to add 12-20% to the price, especially not for a digital medium. Soon FM will be a $100 game, every year. Which is insane, since most $90-100 games (its $90 where I live) are AAA studio games that take 5+ years to make. A sports game with very little changes year to year, is a literal cash cow. Sports games with yearly updates should be priced cap at $40.
A youtuber called Piratesoftware explained why. The video was forced down by Steam I believe but you can still find asmongold tv reacting to it.

- I even deserved it for free...
Seems like they have a different price localisation compared to FM 24, as both games for me are 59.99€
