In game editor greyed out

In game editor is greyed out. Don't understand why.
Restarted the game, restarted steam, even rebooted the mac, but still the editor is greyed out.

when creating a new game on the screen where you pick countries, check the bottom part to make sure the 'prevent use of in-game editor' isnt ticked.

i have the same problem, i check state of "prevent use of..." and is unmarked
anyone has a solution?

In game preferences there is an option that says hide in game editor, make sure it’s not ticked

I've been getting this same problem, it says can't connect to server when I press the downloads button.

I just realised the problem. I'm using the new public beta of macos and that is causing the problem. Something broke with the new update.

Ahh me too, I guess that means we'll just have to wait until Apple fixes it.

It seems that this issue is not exclusive to macOS, as Windows users are reporting similar problems.

The new public beta for macos has been released. Installed it and in-game editor is working again.
