singing young prospects

So i'm playing feyenoord, doing great in Europe and the Netherlands. But for some reason high prospects in Europe do not want to sign. All think it's not beneficial for there development. Even good dutch prospects from Zwolle, Excelsior and NEC don't want to even talk although they are already 17 or 18 and are playing for there clubs for several years.

Feels a bit weird, as in real life many of them would be interested.

Nordsjælland in Denmark gets about 2-3 every year, don´t know how they do it, it´s not a reknown team and yet they manage to create some very useful youngsters ever single season, it´s their business model. You can´t do it in FM.

I am not talking about super stars, mostly players who would be at max 150 potential with a few exceptions. They specialise in getting African youth players which I have also tried with no luck.

I think it´s to avoid exploits, SI could just set a limit .... 1 or 2 per season signed youth at a cheap.

It's a matter of club and league reputation, manager reputation as well as training and youth facility quality.

I'm managing Genk, so it's a similarly reputable league as the Netherlands.

Most of these youngsters are signed, not developed at Genk.

So yes, you can sign talented youngsters, given the right conditions.

I have top facilities and currently 12th overal on the european club list.

But a player from zwolle or nec would normally sign for Feyenoord even if they are doing less
