No scouting results

So why is the list of my scouting focuses almost always empty?
I set it to goalkeeper and set three stars each and let them search and it finds one! goalkeeper. Wtf.

It depends from a lot of factors. What you doing is not working, maybe change something?

Scouting hasn't worked properly for like 15 years at this point so you'll need to do it manually.
I have a dozen focuses that come back empty every time (with a couple 'near' recommendations). 3 star minimum for any position between 15 and 50. That's a wide net with plenty of options for a Championship/low prem team. Possibly if you change one or two options you can figure out exactly which setting is broken. Or all of it.

I just can't for God's sake find any goalkeeper. It's so broken. But I have no idea how I should find a goalkeeper manually. I can't go through all clubs one by one finding a goalkeeper which I then have to scout again which takes years.
It's so annoying.

You can go into scouting and then the players tab and start filtering by position etc. You can then manually send your scouts to look at any you think are interesting. Pretty sure you can use shift and click on the circles to the left of the players to select multiples then just right click one and send scout and it will do all of them.

It's time consuming compared to how they should work for sure, but seems to be the only way.

Thanks but this doesn't work. It doesn't matter what I set for goalkeepers. It just doesn't find any.
