Enable German national side?

So I know they're "excluded" because of licensing issues and I found the fmscout article on how to enable the team, but for some reason I can't find fm24 files in my program files, only fm23 demo (I tried the demo for fm23 and liked it so i bought fm24 on release)
Are there any plans to fix the licensing issues as I was going to play some more of my current career before starting a German one anyway?
If not, any tips on how to fix these issues?

EDIT : I found my game files, the game was saved to an SSD instead of the usual hard drive so I had to look there

I found the game files in the end, steam has a button for it, but after deleting the bold lines in fmscout it still doesn't work

I did exactly this and it worked for me.

If you want to start as german national manager you can only choose it later, dont know why they have 2 pages for this.

You will have to start a new save-game for the fix to take effect.

Ah tysm, i tried choosing later before i did the SSD fix but not after
