Just a quick question
is there a way I can stop a player retiring using the ingame editor? I'm not cheating, I just want Eden Hazzard to rejuvinate his career at another team (he's not even at my club)

err no only way you couild do it i suppose is get a 15 yo regen change his name and attributes, but thats using in game editor and you might call that cheating.

As far as I know, the only way to stop a player from retiring is using a different external editor from the official one (FMRTE) that lets you edit the retirement date to a different one, so you can at least push it back. Why in the world the in-game editor with all the extreme range of possibilities does not offer that option is beyond me, quite frankly.
