Has anyone else noticed that the assistant manager picks very strange teams after the patch?

My assistant manager don't even put my best players on the bench. He just leaves them out of the squad now after the update.

I noticed that mine does not like to pick loaned in players.

Mine keeps selecting players who are not even in the first team, or injured players.

Didn't have this problem before the major update. My assistant manager keeps on leaving my best players outside of the starting eleven and even the bench sometimes. I even started a new save just to see if it would happen again, and it did. I picked Man City and the assistant manager leaves Haaland on the bench every game. He even picks Ortega as the main goalkeeper instead of Ederson.

Also noticed that the data HUB won't give me all the stats anymore either. And this was not an issue before the major update.

i dont have that problem when he chooses my team maybe look at the quick pick settings and lower the values in whatever is ticked? that might fix it for you and it won't hurt to just check those settings anyways.
