Hello, this is a known issue that will be resolved in our next game update.

Do you have the editor? If so, use it to "register at any time" as a temporary workaround until SI fixes the issue

when will this be out? this is kinda big deal and its 3 weeks since the game was released, you should release smaller hot fixes asap for game breaking bugs

I presumed that disables achievements which I like to get as I tend to only do one big save a year on FM so it's very annoying this happened in my third season. I never save scum but felt it was justified here and I kept losing 5-0 in the first leg as my opponent had four or five first team players homegrown at their club compared to me (I also had a 16 year old CB in goals) so it was very easy for them to beat my youths with half their first team + youths. Eventually managed to get past it with a one goal deficit by going on holiday for the match and it returned a 3-2 defeat which I overturned.
