Changing clubs during your career
So I'm curious. Have been playing the series for several years now and never had to do it:

Can I plan a move to another club? Meaning: Is there a way for me to show interest in a job or maybe even get approached by a club for the next season and just let the contract at my current club run out and move to the new club? The only way I could find was to leave mid-season for a team in danger. It's also only possible to show interest in a job that has a low job security.

So basically is there a way to show interest in a club or attract their attention without the job being "on the market" per se? I was hoping to run my old save for another 4-5 years, win the Champions League a couple more times and then move from England to Germany to take on Bayern Munich with either Hertha BSC or Schalke 04. However, I don't want to wait for the gig to become available through sheer luck and I don't want to switch mid-season. I want to eventually finish up my job properly and then leave.

the is a job section page somewhere on the right you can find and you can see which manager's are under pressure and declare and interest, also available manager jobs are there which you can apply for...... and yes if your doing good, teams will approach you and offer you interviews for the job at there club.

As I already stated: I know that. I was asking whether there is an option to actually plan a move. Meaning that I could take on the job or declare interest in a job at a midtable team which is not in any danger of having the manager lose his job. As I already stated, I was thinking of moving to Hertha Berlin. The club always is around places 7 to 9, nothing more, nothing less, and the manager is not in danger of getting fired, ever. I don't want to have to rely on luck to get the job. What if the the guy still finishes between 7 and 9 in 5 years? Is there no way other than waiting for an opening?

Only option left if he doesnt leave, is to wait till he retires.

Start a new game and pick Hertha Berlin

That wasn't the goal. The goal is to continue my career at another club. Basically do what Klopp did when or Pep. Leave, possibly without a sabbatical and build up a club in another country.

Anyway... I can tell that his just isn't possible, so this thread can be closed.
