Crazy Prices
Are they going to do something about the prices on the market? RC Lens , proud 11th in the French ligue 1, asking me €180m to buy their 21yo striker, and refusing €50m in cash? How is this realistic? On the other side, my players are violently underestimated.

One of my guys, Fermin, who's a player of FC Barcelona IRL, is said to be valued between a staggering 1.8m and 4.8m despite averaging 7.00 in Serie A , after 33 appearances and 4 goals, 3 assists. He still has a 2 full years of contract at 200k per month.

I sold Mergim Vojvoda to Brugge for 3m . He was never valued more than that, nor a good player. Instantly after the trade his value is now 13.5m to 16m at Brugge. What the F are they doing in this game?

Price differences are also based on club reputation. For example; for a very long time, Ajax is getting a lot more money for similar players than for example PSV or Feyenoord.

It has always been like this in FM as well, sounds like you haven't been around that long.

They will ask you 180 if they really dont want to sell. If you are at a club with a higher reputation, try this:
- Declare you interest in the player
- Send your scout to watch his games
- Make a reasonable offer
- If your bid gets refused, just increase your bid very slightly.

If the player wants to leave to your club, he will become unhappy and hand in a transfer request. However, by the sounds of it, your club is of much lower reputation/stature than either Brugge or Lens. I come to that conclusion, as the player is worth a lot more at Brugge than at your own club. It's unlikely he will want to join you, unless your reputation is enough for him and he is unhappy at his current club due to a lack of playing time for example.

I understand your frustration, but that will go away as you play more and get to understand the game-mechanics.

Dude I have been playing this game forever, since 2001 probably. You think you can teach how to play FM? You're of no help whatsoever. My club is Continental Reputation, Vice Champion of Serie A in 2024/2025, Torino . I lost in Champions League in Quarters against Bayern Munch the season before.

And I'm not talking contracts here, you're out of topic. Transfers between clubs are not affected by reputation. You give a price, they accept or not. Then the player decides if he's interested in joining your club or not.

Haaland was bought for 60million. How much do you think he was valued at one week after he joining City?

That's exactly my point, he was only worth 60m at Dortmund. Lens cannot ask 180m for Elye Wahi in FM24, does anyone even know this guy? He signed last summer at Lens for 5m

Real deal last summer was Barcola (biggest prospect in France at the moment) who signed at PSG for 45m from Lyon.

ManU does not care about paying 74m, well played by Atalanta. EU Clubs are really good at getting the max money from UK clubs.

He was worth 60m in Dortmund in last year of contract and he decided not to renew contract with Dortmund, so they sold him at last transfer window before contract expire for "only" 60m
