Grey ball in matches

the ball is grey during matches.

I reinstall the game but the pb is still herWhat can I try?

go to steam libary right click on FM24 and there is an option to verify game files.

Yes that is what I did, the message was : all "zero" files are validated

I have the same issue , using a bunch of packs and a skin though, not full vanilla at all

Fairly sure this is caused by using a skin. Or a particular skin.

I was able to fix it by adjusting the ball color in preferences (go to preferences and type color , same menu as for the attribute color settings)

I fixed that by changing very high graphics settings to high. Now it works perfect

You may have a football balls mod that either has the ball undefined for your competition or the configuration is incorrect. To check and fix:
1. Get the ID of the competition (search Preferences to show ID).
2. In "graphics/balls" folder open Configuration file in Notepad and find your competition ID.
3. If there is no configuration for your competition ID, you need to add it and perhaps reuse an existing ball file (if you don't bother creating one). If there is configuration, check ball file name and other syntax.

I had Scottish Cup defined as 1301431 while it is 1301430 is the game. I just updated the ID and added winter ball and it worked. Cheers!
