To many goals
The AI conversion rate and the easy chance creation/bad positioning in defence makes this game quite entertaining. 41 goals in my last 5 games

way too many goals, attacking players are way overtuned, or punishment for having slightly the wrong tactic in someway is way to harsh. Also AI teams who are tired at start of match should be punished more.

My Brescia Serie B midfielders and attackers seem Modric Kroos and Benzema, even opponents, While defenders seem amateur, the scores are way far from reality, 3D instructions are not followed

Can anyone tell this to Some programmers in Order to fix it, because it is ruining all, pity

Yeah, thought it was just me but seems this is an issue for everyone?

Scoring so many goals, even with weak strikers.

My CF with 11/20 finalization scored more than 20 in My italian Serie-B season, absurd and not entertaining at all

Last year Serie B real statistics were that Frosinone who won the League and were promoted had an average of 1,66 goals x match

In FM now with Brescia in 36 matches i scored 80 goals so far.......

I think goals are up ~modestly~ across the board when comparing my 23 save to 24, but my actual matches have been mostly low scoring affairs. 1-0’s, 2-1’s types with the occasional blow out. The most extreme was my first season in the National league but the past 2 seasons I’ve played in Skybet league 1&2 most of my games are low scoring.

Mate in every thread you are deflecting from the truth, come on man we are all playing the game why you choose to tell porky pies and defend the obvious is rather silly...behave mate.

I am working the weekend but when I get home Monday I’ll happily post screenshots. My league matches are in fact regularly low goal affairs. In several of the threads I’ve commented in I’ve also brought screenshots then too, for example the person who was saying there was no player development taking place.

I will follow up Monday morning though.

I will say though, I haven’t played in any top-flight leagues yet. I’ve played 2.5 seasons in Vanarama National, SB 1&2. So my experience has only been in lower leagues so far. The National league was a rollercoaster but in the year and a half in league 1/2 it’s been much more controlled.

My friend was sending me screenshots of his second season as Tottenham and I’ll say his first 5 games included a 6-1, and 4-0 win alongside 2-1, 2-0, and 1-0 so that seems to be on pace for much higher totals. When I eventually get to the prem or do another save maybe my experience will be different.

As promised, got home from my weekend of work and grabbed a quick screen shot of my season so far in Sky Bet League One, and of most of the regular season of the year prior in Sky Bet League Two.

As you can see, with the outlier of a 2-5 loss, and 4-2 win, the other matches through the first part of the year have been all 1-0's, 2-1's, etc. It's also pretty clear my team over performed in the season prior winning promotion through playoffs when expected to be relegated- we've been struggling at the start of this League 1 season. (I also lost the locker room in the pre-season cause I pissed off a team leader- woopsie on my part.)

And this is most of the year prior. There's a couple 'high scoring' matches, but for the most part it's a lot of 1-1's, 2-1's, 2-0's. Only a few of matches were 4+ goal affairs.

Circling back to my original point, I don't disagree that overall goal totals have *modestly* increased, but my personal experience is that it hasn't been noticeably different than FM 23 for example. I think sometimes people get this feeling because of the increased rate of long-range shots going in this year and the occasional baffling goalie play, but at least from my perspective when I come to the forums and see people with so much outcry about 'crazy goal totals' I just don't see it and get the feeling it's a by product of their grievances with other aspects of the ME.

But, I also acknowledge there's the possibility my save has been the outlier. As I mentioned before, I haven't played in top-flight leagues on 24 yet so maybe I'm just not experiencing wacky stuff that is happening at the top. To that point though, in these threads complaining about the insane goal totals, I haven't really seen any screen shots showing consistently high tallies over a season either.

I got curious as I was typing out my point about top-flight scoring and decided to look at Man City's season prior to my current one in my save as well. Just to see if the goal totals were crazy outlandish.

Man City won the league so I figured if there were crazy numbers to be found it would be here.

Honestly... it doesn't seem super crazy to me. Just glancing at the real life 23/24 match list and honestly it doesn't look ~that~ far off base. They are more consistently dominant in FM it seems, but the score lines aren't too egregious. Especially how often they seem to win 3-1, 4-0, 3-0 in reality as well. So maybe my save file really is just an outlier I guess.

The problem is when you play against these Great teams and they play like amateurs instead

Just watched an omegaluke youtube video last night, Hålaand alone had 12 goals in 3 games. Fantasy ball
