I can't use in game Editor

Hello, even though the in game editor is visible in screen, I can't use the in game editor.

Can't get the in-game editor (IGE) to work for save games from the beta. Tried creating new game but the IGE still doesn't work. The check mark shows up, but it's inactive. I've reset my preferences, moved my Cache folder, even reinstalled the game. Same outcome.

If you go to your Game Status page does it show the IGE is allowed? Like in the screenshot below:

yes, and the answer to both IGE questions is Yes - Yes, yours is Yes - No. But I have yet to use the IGE

With the new update the issue seems to be solved, thanks.

I have the same problem. The editor icon is present but not clickable - on my laptop. Everything is set up correctly - prevent use of editor unticked.
Tried a fresh install (so I assume the install is up-to-date), but still not working.
Works on my main pc, but not the laptop.
How was this solved?
Or how do you get is resolved?
