Disclaimer: "This is my personal opinion" and I think it´s time to defend SI and FM.
This is only for players who blame the ME, the game, and SI over and over again because they keep loosing instead of getting better in FM.

Hello friends of the FM,

I read and I have read here on Steam in threads in the Discussion-Part alot of wrong experiences, and bad feelings about FM and I was wondering what is going on in the community? What is going on wrong? How it can be that lots of players feel so bad about the game and the ME?
Just for an example:
"I am playing with the right tactic but keep loosing, ♥♥♥♥ game", "I know every match is rigged and stagged", "The ME does not work right", "Tactical instructions doesn´t work right", "FM is just bad", "SI is just bad".

So, I was asking myself, how it can be that so much players blame the ME, the game, and SI for their own mistakes and of course with things that are not true?

Just for those of you, who are still complaining about the game all over again;
You have to realize that: YOU ARE THE PROBLEM

It´s your lack of knowledge, your lack of experience, your lack of passion in FM and how to play it right.

IT IS NOT THE GAME, IT IS NOT THE ME, IT IS NOT SI

Sorry, I wont sound harsh, I wont sound rude, but that is a fact and I think it is time to say it. IT`S THAT SIMPLE !

For all of you, who are now going on with reading and want to doit better in the future in FM "CONGRATZ"! Letz go a little bid deeper;

A big mistake is that alot of new players and older players do is, they start to play FM like a fun "Arcade Football Manager Game" with no depth.
Those of you who do should not expect successful results. It´s that simple!

Your problem is that you do not have a clue, or not have enough knowledge yet about the game depth, or you do not have enough time, or you do not have enough passion to learn. That is a fact! Ok?!

What you have to understand is that FM is a simulation. It takes time to master it. The complexity in FM is so huge that even if you do everything 100% correctly that there is still a momentum,
a small chance in the live match, that can have a big impact in the game, just like in real life, that can change the outcome of the match and thats called realism and that can let you loose. But thats why FM is called a simulation on no Arcade, No-Brain-Clicker. Ok?!

Just for an example:
If you keep geeting bad results - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
If your team keep in recieving to much goals - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
If your defenders do to often defending mistakes in the matches - it is your own fault then you did something wrong!
If your whole team playes to often wrong passes - it is your own fault then you did something wrong!
If your players run slower then your oppenment players - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
If your team lacks with fighting spirit - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
If your team do not score alot of goals - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
If the morale from the team is bad - it is your own fault then you do something wrong!
It´s that simple!

Of course there is also the fact that your team is just too weak but not in the most cases for sure. ;=) What I wanna tell you is, even if you are using the best, hyper, mega, meta tactic doesnt mean automaticly that your team win the most matches, because you can still do so much management decisions wrong, that let your team keep loosing.

Listen:
If you do not reach your board goals at the end of a season - it is your own fault then you did something wrong! It´s that simple!
Everyone can reach their boards goals and also over top it easily to the end of the season, if you start doing it right.

"You have to invest more time to be more succesfull in FM! It´s that simple!
"I can tell you" "It´s worth".
You need more experience, you need more knowledge.
You can check guides and hints everywhere and there is lot in the WWW and ofc in YT.


"Alot of us successful players, who are enjoying FM have thousands, or even ten thousands of hours on their clocks and yet we don't win every game"!
"We have loses aswell but we accept the point and the fact that no team is always unbeatable"!

I am really enjoying every minute so far. I am really looking forward to your patches and I am sure you will do a great job. Also I am even more hyped for FM25 now.

Yea I totally agree with you. Sometimes you have to ignore them because if not, you get affected with bad mood aswell. Imagine how the SI-Support-Team feels probably with all this bs and nonsense they are confronted with.

But on the other hand, you want to help the community and the new beginners.

Dude this game is arcade. Plug and play tactics without any sense work like a charm and you can win a league with an underdog easily.


Yes, people are getting increasingly annoyed and irritated when they are constantly reminded by people like you that is their tactic and other nonsense when one makes actually balanced tactic with the real life approach WHICH DOES NOT WORK because the ME is so flawed and it so limited in the way you can actually imitate real life football or instruct your players it is laughable.

But no, in order to make a working counter attacking tactic you need attacking mentality. Yeah, makes sense.

Unbalanced tactics with forward bombing CWBs on attack on both sides and attacking segundo volantes in the midfield and inside forwards on attack and CF on attack without any supporting midfielders or AMs WORK THE BEST and are pretty much unbeatable online.


YES, THAT'S WHY PEOPLE ARE ANNOYED. Because instead of getting reworked ME, they removing options from the game so you can not replicate those wunderwaffe tactics from the past.


It is obvious you do not know much about the game and you said you use one tactic all the time so chances are it is one of those "balanced" tactics I mentioned above.


You literally can go watch youtube and follow the most famous tactic creators in the community trying to replicate any real life tactic and it is always like

"there is difference between real life and ME interpretation, sooooo, in order to replicate Mourinho counter attack style, we gonna use attacking mentality"

"in order to replicate Guardiola style, we gonna use entirely different and contradicting role like in real life because this is how ME work"

"uh, this coach uses IFs but we gonna use wingers on attack because they work better in ME and cut inside in more sensible way and do not bomb goalkeeper from impossible angles"

"Here the pivotal man in our tactic is the classic number 10 who will be supporting the team mates and producing the passes spearheading the opposition defence but uh, we not gonna use advanced playmaker or trequartista, no, we assign him the role of Shadow Striker because that way, we will get from him what we want, so we will use the most attacking selfish role instead of the original supporting one."

Etc etc and I could continue.. This is your "It'S YoUr tAcTiC" in a nutshell.

This thread is not for players like you, who wins everything easily and critizes the ME. This thread is only for players, who are "not successfull in the game" and still complaining over and over, keep loosing and blaming SI and the ME".

But to be fair lets react to your points and critism of the ME so far;

About the ME. When did I say that the ME is perfect?! Mmh?! Did I?!
I know it´s not perfect. But it isn´t so bad like you guys mentiond it is, over and over.
Also, did I say there is no space for improvements? Mmh?! No!
Yes, of course there are things that SI can do better. And I am sure they patch some things. But to be honest and to be fair, this is still a game!
Do you see any other publisher actually , who is doing nearly such a great job in Football Manager like Si does? No, not even close!
Every other Football Manager on the market is a totally failure, a Freak Show, and crap with no depth, and ofc just a "Brain-Dead-Clicker"!

And no, this game isn´t just plug and play with only one META-Tactic and you win everything easily. Thats BS! Because you can see that alot of players still struggling and keep quitting. And self I am do not win every single game. Of course it is possible if you cheat. But it i´snt fun! Also you think nothings works hand in hand? Thats BS aswell.

About how I self using my tatcic is also off topic and not the right place to speak about. But self here you where totally wrong. I´ve never said that I never change my instructions. Or did I? Mmh!?
