Player sales are almost impossible
Very difficult to sell players, big lack of interest worldwide regardless of their ability or rep, can never sell at anywhere near actual supposed value, always undercut by the computer, almost always offer a percentage of the salary, and then when you do agree a lower fee your board block the transfer

been like this the last few years, again, unrealistic, because if i wanted to sell wayne rooney for 10£ id have every granny this side of toxteth interested

I found that yes, they do often undercut but not had problems selling players. Even the terrible ones in my 1st team all got moved on easy enough.

theres something weird with the weighting, offering players for sale almost gets no results, and when you do they are always much lower offers than the players value, and then if you use intermediary you get even lower offers

Hasn't this been the case for awhile now. The AI over values the players it has and under values your players.

This means they usually want the higher end of what the player is worth all in cash and more if you try and stagger it out over time. Meanwhile they always offer you the bottom end of what a player is worth and try to stagger it over time while adding conditions.

I'M NOT SURE WHY SI WANTS TO MAKE EVERYTHING MORE DIFFICULT TO PLAY.
RIGHT, SALE PLAYERS ARE NOW NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE EVEN CUTTING DOWN 50 % VALUE OR OFFERING ZERO TO OTHER CLUBS -> NO ONE WANTS TO BUY !!! ALL JUST GET LOAN !!!!

HI SI YOU NEED TO FIX IT OR FM 24 BECOMES THE MOST STUPID VERSION IN THE FM SERIES.

All caps is from middle school I didn’t see one of those

I found selling players very easy as long as the clubs actively pursue them. They often pay over the odds too.

I have a problem with reserve and u-19 players, they ask for too much.

I sold 200M+ by January, doesn't feel impossible to me.

Seems normal to me. Also, I have seen crazy transfers from Saudi Arabia clubs, which is kinda true compared to what the clubs receiving IRL.

ok some examples

shane duffy, old man, not much to offer, I offered him for 250k, well under his value, couldnt shift him for 8 months, eventually sold via intermediary for 6 million (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay above his value)

yet, i have a good 5 or 6 players in their mid 20s, much better, not on high wages, prob worth 1.8 to 3.5 mill. that have no interest and cant shift to anyone.

saying "its easy i sold 200 million" is kind of missing the point tbh, sounds to me like youre either psg, madrid, or top 6 prem club, and im guessing probably sold those players well below their actual value

Yeah you're right, I only tried Man Utd so far as a test run and I sold some high-value players (Fernandes, Varane) to PSG and Saudis, for around or above their valuation though. Still you hadn't explained your own context so I assumed it would also be somewhere in or around the main leagues.

I signed Guido Fernandez as free transfer and sold him to arabs for over 100 million next season. After reading this i think maybe i was lucky :)
