no way to manage facilites, stadium and finances?

I finally started with this Football Manager.... well i tried once before ...i think 2018 or something - but i quickly stopped...mainly because of the same reasons i now am annoyed i suppose.

is it still not possible to really have an impact on facilities, stadium, finances and partner clubs? (for example...i suppose there is more possible)

i do try to love this manager series...i really do... i love the possibilities you have with player contracts... but it just does not feel whole at all. I want to be really able to control every aspect of the club. I want to develop my facilities...be able to develop a lowest level club to one with the greatest facilites, the greatest stadium and so on. Be able to get a loan if needed and more. (even be able to own the club if thats what would be necessary to justify the features). I want to build youth camps to in other parts of the world.

It would just feel much more like a whole experience if you could have more control over the club. I suppose i will give 2024 another try - but at the moment i am thinking about not touching FM anymore unless they got at least some of the features :( Just to much money to spend on a game that just does not feel right.

You're looking for Football Club Owner, not Football Manager, although I would like that , maybe you can find mods for the game that add that functionality in the older versions?

This is the life of a football manager, this things wont be added, you can ask the board tho to expand the facility, stadium etc.

still there would be the possibility to buy a club as a manager...

and...why would you be able to create a new club but not be the owner? that does not really make any sense.

i just think it is really missing in the game ... and all my friends that always played football managers with me do think the same way - it just does not feel whole like that.

to be honest... i think this is just a bad excuse becaue the devs do not want to spend ressources on that area.

there should be because is what you like to do but is not what football manager do.
it's not an excuse can you tell me with football manager own a club in real life?

it still is just an excuse...they could do it if they wanted and it would not harm being a manager. you could let the player choose if he wants to be the owner too...or if he wants to have an "extended" manager role or something like that.

saying it just does not fit a managers job description is just an excuse - nothing more^^

but please do not misunderstand me... i think it is a good game, i think it is fun to play and i will still give it another try... but i just think it is not whole and it COULD be a great game...not just a good one.

You can ask for increase quality of training and youth facilities; build a new stadium and ask for affiliate clubs. The more you stay in the club and bring success, the more options will unveil (eg. to choose which club to become affiliate).

yeah i know i can "ask" for it. but it is not the same as having control over it. especially if i CREATE a club i want to be in total control - not just "manager"

just think it is lost potential to not include the option for total control.

Kinda agree with this OP. I remember on Fifa Manager where I could use my Manager wages to purchase stuff, like a house/car.

There is a reward for earning over a certain amount through salary as a manager, but it's kinda pointless. Allow us to use the Manager career earnings towards something. We could invest it towards a new stadium along WITH the Board, Youth facilities etc, buy players if the club doesn't have finances etc.

What you are wanting is the in game editor editor, where you can now just upgrade all the facilities as you want and give yourself loans all without they financial considerations of a board holding you back.
