main menu screen not showing and just leaving a black screen?

so I logged into play today - everything was fine with the game opening up but got to the main menu and its just a black screen? Anyone know how to get this working?

I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache on steam, reinstalling steam completely and nothing is working - I've never had this issue before on any Fm's and I've been playing since Champ Manager days
