I have unplugged every USB device from my PC exlcuding my mouse and keyboard in an effort to get the XBox 360 controller. This did not fix the problem. I also don't believe that this should be an issue.
As I stated in my original post, I have re-installed all device drivers associated with my game controller and racing wheel.
Did a quick Ctrl+F in the log. Could this little tidbit be what you're interested in?
Yeah, that's the bit! We've got a fix in the works but for now you should be able to do the same as these guys http://steamcommunity.com/app/225220/discussions/0/846958223139024924/#p1 and disable the Virtual HID Device. It seems to be a rare issue when windows installs the drivers
I did try that before with no luck. I'll go ahead and play with that a little more since we have it narrowed down a bit.
I was immensely excited for a NASCAR game to FINALLY come out on PC but I feel like this is just another publisher exploiting the fandom of sports/movies for profit. There is some serious work that still needs to be done on this game.

I am frustrated (clearly). This game really has potential, it just feels unfinished at the moment. I think I might just need to wait a few patches for all this to be fixed. *crosses fingers*
Please read the thread before posting. The XBox Controller issue as already been resolved.
