Nascar Thunder 2004

Has anyone played Nascar Thunder 2004 for PC? I thought it was a pretty decent and fun game overall, however I am not a Nascar racing expert. I still play it to this day because I don't have any other Nascar game for PC. I just wish there was a fix for widescreen resolution cause it sucks not being able to play full screen on my widescreen monitor.

NT04 is the game that got me to switch from PS2 EA Sports Nascar racing games to the PC. Online play on the PS2 was 4 players max, but on the PC it was (I think) 16. In fact, the league I started with still runs to this day (I started on PC about 9 yrs ago). I have sinced moved on to rFactor and have even dabbled in a little modding and created the Mini World of Outlaw Karts mod and the USAC and POWRi National Midget mods.

Cool did you think nascar thunder 04 was a good game overall? I sure did but certainly nowhere near as good as papyrus nascar racing 2003 that game was awesome I wish I hadn't given it away to friend

Dude jump on to NR2003 the best nascar sim so far hands down.. Especially if you get the high res tracks and mods from sites on the net....
Let me know if you want to know a few sites if you end up getting it...

Is there a particular site that has all the (best) mods as I have just searched and they seem to be all over the place?

They are all over the place but the top ones are safer barrier project and revamped reloaded, sim racing design and teamsbr is also the best place to find paint schemes.

VIDEOMODE=27 let's you screen size go to fullscreen if i'm right! If not, I want to take a sniff into the files to see if i can see a solution!

For widescreen just right click .exe compatability 98/me - Run in 640x480 - Disable fullscreen optimization - Run this as an administrator . see if that works for your wide screen .
