Mouse look?
I realize there have been some threads on this before, but I'm wondering if anyone's found a fix or workaround for the weird mouse look issue where the x and y axis sensitivities aren't the same. Any way around this besides playing with the slider until it feels ok?

Play with the different sliders until you like it.. It's not that bad, set it once and you should be fine. Just be glad I whined about there only being 1 slider for both x and y so they put 2 sliders BACK into the game.

go to properties, beta, and select sdl1. mouse is better

no problem. I remember a dev telling me ages ago when I had this. If you own duke 3d megaton edition you can also do the same with that.

achievements etc still work. I completed the game a few times on the sdl1 build. I think the newer build has added stuff like control pad support but nothing you'll miss im sure.
