next / previous weapon not working with scroll wheel

Basically I assigned the next/previous weapon to scroll up/down but the game is not accpeting the input consistently. I.e some times it ignores the scroll action and does not switch the weapon. It is very random how many times you have to scroll before it accepts the input.
I have a logitech g502 mouse.

Anyone experiences this ?

as a previous logitch g502 owner i can tell you i had nothing but problems with that thing in many games, ESPECIALLY the wheel. I can't promise you a new mouse would fix anything but with all the trouble i had with that mouse i would definitely say its worth a shot
