What to use Holoduke for?
Does anyone know what to use Holoduke for (in SP)? Or are you, like me, one who never uses it?

I never use it. It works great in Multiplayer though for a quick distraction.

I'm the same, its more of a MP thing for me

I never use holoduke or night vision goggles. I find Holoduke does distract enemies though, and it has more use than the nightvision goggles.

The maps seems more light in Megaton Edition than in the older versions of Duke Nukem 3D. So I never use them too.

But as far as I know, the Holoduke won't distract the AI, and will only be usefull in MP. Am I wrong?

It's actually really helpful for luring enemies into traps...

Like captain barnaby said, it works well with pipe bombs and trip mines.

I find it only works properly on Octobrains

I use the HoloDuke on SP when i'm low on life and that i can get away from the enemies's sights, they'll normally focus on the HD and it buys me time to get around / find health

while the HoloDuke does indeed work on OctaBrains, it sometimes doesn't distract all of them. Because there's been a few times where a group of them fall for the HoloDuke, while at the same time, maybe 1 or 2 OctaBrains will still give chase.
