Underwater feature request
I find it difficult to gauge how much time that you actually have underwater (without scuba) before taking damage. Could some sort of notification be added to allow us to determine how much time that we actually have? Either a bar, a timer, or various levels of sound (like a choking sound X seconds before you take damage) be added?

Or maybe a popping up H20 bubblemeter - thingy :D
Isn't that changing the gameplay?
Was just an idea :D I don't have a problem with that, i have got intuition ^^
Suck it up, Duke doesn't need his hand to be held ;)

Try locating more secrets and exploring more, you will no doubt find scuba gear when needed

Honestly, myself, I haven't been underwater long enough to take damage from drowning. Mostly, when I am underwater, I've already got the scuba gear, so I'd say it's not much of a problem unless you're spending too much time underwater.

Like doing that crazy ass Russian Folk Dance while kicking both feet at the same time??

haha ;) Speaking of that I'm certain I remember you could kick with both at once on the original but in megaton you can only use one at a time, which does make more sense ;)

well I tried kicking both feet at once when I had the GOG.com version of this game, and it didn't work. it only allowed me to kick one foot at a time, as someone mentioned that 3DRealms later released a patch that fixed that particular bug.

no problem dude. but in my personal and honest opinion, that was one bug they should've left in for gits-and-shiggles
I think Shadow Warrior has this feature, so why not Duke?An option on the menu perhaps...
because Jim Norwood designed that game and he wanted that bar there, and Sir Allen Blum the Third didn't.

Get and play Duke Plus. It has a breath bar +a lot more.

Kicking with both feet is only in the original 1.3d version that was originally released. 3D Realms fixed it when they added Plutonium Pak/Atomic Edition.
